We are looking for a Capability and Training Coordinator to support our Customer Solutions team. As we reposition ourselves to deliver a higher level of service and meet the changing needs of our community, this role will be instrumental in driving team development, service excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.
In this role, you’ll design, deliver and evaluate training, coaching and development initiatives that build staff confidence and capability. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality customer interactions and promoting a learning culture aligned with our organisational values and service standards.

This role is based across Council’s customer‑facing sites in Tokoroa, Putāruru and Tīrau, and is 35 hours per week (part‑time). We have a strong safety culture, so we require preferred candidates to undergo pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing.
