Position

Bioinformatics Researcher (Contract, Remote, 1–2 months, 10–20 hours / week).

Base Pay Range

$60.00 / hr – $90.00 / hr.

Role Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI model capabilities in bioinformatics to design and execute complex workflows.
  • Develop benchmarks using real-world, published scientific data to test model performance.
  • Collaborate with AI labs to ensure rigorous scientific reasoning and tool proficiency.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet project goals and deadlinesli>
  • Improve model outputs by providing structured feedback and enhancing training data quality.

Qualifications (Must-Have)

  • Current graduate student (M.S. or Ph.D.) or hold a higher degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field.
  • Experience using bioinformatics command line tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
