Job descriptionPrepare and cook meals including meat, seafood, vegetables, and baked goods to high standards. Maintain kitchen hygiene, safety, and cleanliness throughout service. Receive, store, and rotate supplies while assisting with stock control and ordering. Develop menus that cater to special dietary and cultural requirements. Coach and support team members while working collaboratively with colleagues and customers. Holds an NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or equivalent, with experience in a similar role. A team player with strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude. Able to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and positivity. Physically fit, reliable, and committed to food safety and hygiene standards. Has Police Clearance and ideally experience as a pastry chef. We are seeking enthusiastic Chefs to join our team at St Cuthebert Collegein Epsom, Auckland . In this role, you’ll prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals that meet the dietary and cultural needs of students and staff. You’ll play a key part in maintaining food safety standards, supporting kitchen operations, and contributing to a positive dining experience. This is a Casual Position where hours of work are "as and when" required basis upon business needs.
Successful candidates will be able to pass per-employment checks satisfactorily.
