Responsibilities

Perform exploratory testing on product builds alongside the team and our customers

Implement and evolve automation frameworks; drive increased test automation coverage across projects

Develop appropriate testing strategies for small to medium-sized projects

Produce test status reports and quality metrics

Facilitate defect triage and guide overall defect resolution processes

Conduct test reviews and support requirements traceability and test coverage mapping

Help the team prioritise and execute testing activities aligned to the test pyramid

Assist teams in setting quality goals and defining acceptance criteria

Contribute to data migration testing, planning and execution when applicable

Qualifications

5+ years of professional testing experience, including Agile delivery (e.g., Scrum)

Experience across the full software development lifecycle

Proven ability to embed quality practices early in the lifecycle (Shift Left) and maintain quality post-release (Shift Right)

Strong advocacy for shared quality ownership across disciplines

2+ years of hands-on coding experience in one or more of the following : C#, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, Kotlin, or Swift

Solid experience in automation testing, including :

UI test automation

API / service / contract testing

Data test automation

Proficiency in SQL and working with data for validation

Bonus : Monitoring or maintaining system quality in production environments

Experience in Data migration testing

Experience using data tools like : dbt / elementary

Nice to Have

Unit and integration testing

Performance and load testing

DevOps / build engineering knowledge

Application security testing

Custom test tool development

Mobile app test automation

Project management or Scrum Mastery

Business analysis and consulting background
