This role will see you manage and deliver geotechnical investigations, support junior staff in the field, and contribute to projects extending across commercial, industrial, and complex residential, as well as land development, major infrastructure, and natural disaster response on all scales.The RoleYour role will be varied and technically challenging.
Our flat team structure and the dynamic nature of our projects ensure that you will take on multiple responsibilities, with no two days looking exactly the same.
We see this as a great way to build competency across the broad range of skills our discipline demands.We expect the core functions of this role will include : Planning and managing site investigations, testing, and data collectionDeveloping ground models and contributing to specifications and drawingsUndertaking detailed geomorphic mapping and desk-based assessmentsCarrying out slope stability analyses and assessmentsPreparing geotechnical reports and recommendationsBuilding strong relationships with clients and project partnersMentoring and supporting junior engineering geologists and field staffSupporting our Queenstown office with project delivery, including fieldwork on projects as required from time to timeAbout YouYou have a solid technical foundation and the confidence to apply it practically.
You are aware of the boundaries of your experience, are not afraid to ask questions, and proactively contribute to solutions by offering input.
