About the opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join a well-regarded specialist firm's corporate and commercial team.

You’ll work closely with a senior partner on complex, high-level matters and take ownership of major files, supported by junior lawyers. The role involves advising on sale and purchase of businesses, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and broad corporate and business advisory, with the option to also work on commercial property and development matters. The work spans industries including construction, hospitality, aviation, transport, and trades.

This is a role for a confident lawyer who is eager to excel and grow within the team. You will have a high degree of independence and autonomy, managing files directly with clients, while still being able to draw on the mentorship and support of the senior partner and other key members of the firm. The firm is modern, tech-friendly, and known for its excellent culture, flexibility, and strong focus on professional development. You will also play a mentoring role, guiding and supporting junior lawyers as they develop their skills.

About you

You’ll be a senior corporate or commercial lawyer with 7+ years’ PQE, confident in managing complex matters and client relationships. You thrive when taking ownership of major files, contributing strategically to the team's work, and mentoring junior lawyers.
