About the Role

As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, personalised support under the supervision of registered nurses, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for those receiving cancer care. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients and whanau with personal care and comfort during treatment.
• Support nursing staff with delegated tasks to maintain patient flow.
• Keep treatment areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked, adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform administrative tasks and assist with stock management as directed.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and participate in education activities.
