Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Electrician based in Timaru, South Canterbury. The Electrician will be responsible for day-to-day electrical tasks including maintenance and fault finding, new home and renovation wiring, commercial and industrial maintenance, rural and dairy farm maintenance, heat pump installs, installation, and servicing, as well as switchboard upgrades and safety improvements. The role may also involve solar installations, data, automation, and control systems, as well as security, fire, and CCTV.

Qualifications

• Experience in Maintenance & Repair, and Troubleshooting
• Registered electrician with relevant certifications
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in residential, commercial, rural, and industrial electrical work is beneficial
