About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and respected management consulting team in Wellington.

You'll contribute to high-impact transformation projects across a wide range of clientele – across public, private, and Maori sectors, supporting strategic outcomes and sustainable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project workstreams and contribute to client engagements with high-quality insight and analysis.

Consulting experience with a strong track record in delivering complex projects and building lasting client relationships.

Support the design and implementation of complex transformation programmes.

Contribute to business development through proposal writing and service innovation.

Deliver across multiple concurrent projects with precision and pace.

Strong project management and change management skills, with the ability to work across multiple projects at pace and lead workstreams.

Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects, mentor staff, and engage effectively with stakeholders and clients.

Uphold the firm's reputation through professionalism, cultural capability, and impactful delivery.

Key Skills and Experience

Proven consulting experience and a track record of successful client relationships.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, public policy, or related disciplines.

Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and collaborative teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and / or Kaupapa Maori frameworks is advantageous.

Advanced problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience in developing business cases, facilitating both content and process, as well as reviewing and quality-assuring business cases, would be advantageous but is not essential.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
