We are looking for Cook for a busy Restaurant in Wellington Region.

Position Responsibilities
§ Preparing awesome ethnic meals for our customers.
§ Responsible to cook wide range of dishes
§ Preparing, seasoning, portioning and presenting the dishes as per the standards.
§ Prepare the gravies and sauces as per requirement of the week.
§ Ensure the food is presented and garnished correctly
§ Presenting dishes as per the requirement of the dish
§ Ensuring meals are delivered as per the standard to guests all the time.
§ Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements of customers.
§ Required to check freshness of food and ingredients
§ Help up with stock inventory and reporting it to the Chef
§ To preserve the food and freeze them as required
§ Maintain the temperatures of cooking equipment's
§ Cleaning, maintaining kitchen and follow workplace hygiene procedures and regulations.
§ Must follow workplace health and safety procedures as per council requirements.
§ Train other kitchen staff whenever required.
§ Any other tasks assigned by the reporting person or Chef.
Candidate requirements :
Hourly wage rate - $27 to $29 Hours of work - 30 to 45 hours per week as per the business requirements
Location of work - Lower Hutt, Wellington
Number of positions - 2x
