Base pay range

NZ$70,000.00 / yr - NZ$100,000.00 / yr

That's why we're on a mission to shift riders from synthetics to natural fibres designing high-performance merino apparel that doesn't mess up the places we love to play.

Mons Royale is growing fast and we're looking for a Sales Manager to help drive our wholesale growth across New Zealand and Australia.

This is a hands‑on commercial role that combines account management with field execution. You'll partner with leading outdoor retailers to grow sales, manage seasonal bookings and re‑orders and make sure Mons looks world‑class wherever it's stocked. You'll take ownership for achieving sales targets and driving sustainable growth across your accounts.

It's a role for someone who loves both the numbers and the relationships, is confident in a sell‑in meeting but just as at home on the shop floor.

What you'll do

Responsibilities may vary depending on the experience and strengths of the successful applicant. The following is an indication of what may be included :

  • Build and strengthen partnerships with key retailers across NZ and Australia.
  • Drive pre‑books, re‑orders and new‑door growth.
  • Present seasonal ranges and support stores in curating the right mix.
  • Track territory performance and share feedback that informs future ranges and strategy.
  • Visit stores regularly to train teams and ensure Mons is well‑represented on the floor.
  • Implement seasonal merchandising and training plans.
  • Support local marketing, activations, and community partnerships that drive sell‑through.
  • Feed retailer and consumer insights back to sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Work closely with the wider Mons crew to deliver a consistent, premium wholesale experience.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in wholesale, account management or retail sales (outdoor, sport or apparel preferred).
  • Proven ability to build relationships and deliver commercial results.
  • Confident presenting ranges and negotiating outcomes.
  • Organised, self‑driven, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Passionate about the outdoors and aligned with our purpose of shifting riders to natural performance.
  • Willingness to travel across NZ and Australia.
