Core Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning :  Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, maintain quality, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Supplier Management :  Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiate contract terms, and build long-term relationships.
• Inventory Management :  Oversee inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage stock to prevent shortages or excesses.
• Cost Control :  Analyze purchasing data, report on key metrics, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Team Leadership :  Supervise, train, and motivate a team of buyers and purchasing agents to achieve departmental goals.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration :  Coordinate with other departments to understand supply needs and ensure seamless operations.
• Compliance :  Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
