Help make a difference for New Zealand's health professionals.
About MAS
At MAS, we're not your typical financial services company.
We're a New Zealand-owned mutual, which means we exist to support our Members - many of whom are doctors, dentists, and vets.
Through our Healthy Practice team, we help health professionals and their practice teams create thriving, sustainable workplaces, by providing practical HR & practice ownership, compliance support and advice.
We're looking for a Healthy Practice Coordinator to join our People & Transformation team on a 12-month fixed term.
This role is a great fit for someone who's organised, proactive, and enjoys variety - a mix of HR coordination, account and content management, and HR advisory support to the services subscribers.
What you'll do
As the Healthy Practice Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping our Healthy Practice services running smoothly.
You'll :
Support our Healthy Practice Advisers by managing contract & HR queries from Practice Managers and service subscribers.
Maintain and update our online Healthy Practice portal, ensuring HR resources, templates, and tools are accurate, compliant, engaging, and easy to find.
Support and manage the services account and subscription base - including invoicing & renewals.
Coordinate report, newsletters, webinars, and communications for our subscriber community.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the organising force behind the scenes - someone who loves making things run better and helping people access the information they need while developing or utilising their HR generalist.
You'll bring
What we're looking for
Experience in HR, employee relations, or business support - ideally in the health sector.
A good understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a knack for juggling multiple priorities.
Bonus points for experience with accounting systems such as Xero or website / content management tools
A positive, can-do attitude and the willingness to "give anything a go."
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field are preferred, but practical experience and enthusiasm count just as much.
Why MAS
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to MAS's mission of Member wellbeing, providing support that directly helps Members maintain healthy, compliant, and productive workplaces.
You'll join a collaborative and supportive team while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time, fixed-term role.
