Edger Operator

This is a role based in Whitianga.

You will report to the Team Manager and work closely with a Gardener to perform general green space maintenance across Whitianga.

Your responsibilities include mowing and edging, with involvement in planting, weeding, and spraying, while ensuring safety for the community, your team, and yourself.ResponsibilitiesWork with the team to maintain green spaces, primarily mowing and edging, with opportunities to assist in planting, weeding, and spraying.Ensure safe working practices for yourself and others and comply with relevant health and safety guidelines.What We're Looking ForPractical experience with small plant equipment or a similar role is preferred but not required if you have a strong work ethic and a passion for outdoor work.A current, full driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.Willingness to take ownership of tasks and support the team.Able to undertake and complete physical tasks.Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to the job.Excellent relationship building and communication skills.What We Can Offer YouGuaranteed work hours with potential increases based on operational demands.Performance-based salary reviewed annually.
