Job descriptionExperience on a Holidays Act Remediation / Rectification project as a Data Analyst. Experience with Holidays Act Remediation calculations, including checking / validation. Ideally strong experience and foundation to your career in payroll in complex, unionised and 24 / 7 environment. Highly organised, structured approach to your work. Great communication skills, both written and verbal. Healthy hourly rate Contract through till December June , possible extensions Remote work available, NZ-based, with a home setup and willingness to travel to site for onboarding and IT equipment collection Joining a fun, experienced team that enjoy working together! A fantastic contract opportunity through till June 2026 has been created within a small project team that are focused on delivering Holidays Act Compliance to this NZ organisation.
Responsibilities
- Extracting payroll data from legacy and current payroll systems.
- Analysing payroll data to be able to compare calculation results ensuring business rules were correctly applied.
- Analysing payroll data to establish the number of impacted employees and the financial liability.
- Supporting the design of ‘go forward’ processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
About You
Please note, if you do not have experience as a Payroll Data Analyst on a Payroll Holidays Act Remediation programme you will not be considered due to the specialist requirements of this role.
