About the Role
Our askHR team provides an advisory and support service to the organisation on Human Resources (HR) matters including payroll, leave management, employee agreements and entitlements. The team also plays a key part in providing better candidate experience by preparing all offer documentation and following through with new employees to ensure effective on-boarding into the organisation.The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with the internal Recruitment, Payroll and HR Business Partnering teams as well as the wider HR function to provide a seamless delivery of HR services for the organisation. We are on a path of continuous learning and improvement. We are seeking someone who can recommend and action improvements for internal systems and information to make it easier for managers and employees to engage with HR.
Skills and experience
Tertiary qualification in HR or business (preferred)
Intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft, online tools and HRIS applications
Proactive problem solver with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in adapting to timebound demands & urgent requirements and the ability to self-manage priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
