At Leonardo.Ai, we’re building a generative AI platform that empowers millions to bring their ideas to life. Now part of the Canva family, we’re scaling our engineering teams to design the systems and infrastructure that keep creativity limitless for hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and Scale Infrastructure : Work across AWS, GCP, GCore, and Cloudflare to help scale the hybrid systems that power our AI workloads.
  • Support GPU Optimisation : Contribute to scaling and tuning GPU infrastructure for AI model training and inference to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Improve CI / CD Pipelines : Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance our pipelines, simplify deployments, and boost developer velocity.
  • Strengthen Observability : Help improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response to give teams clearer visibility and faster recovery.
  • Contribute to Integration Projects : Work with Canva engineers and the Platform team to align infrastructure systems and adopt shared tooling.
  • Uphold DevOps Best Practices : Maintain documentation, reusable standards, and workflows that keep systems stable and scalable.
  • Keep Learning and Sharing : Participate in DevOps Guilds, deep dives, and innovation sessions that explore new tools and AI‑driven automation.

Skills We Love

  • Experience working with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, and IAM, with some exposure to multi‑cloud environments like GCP, GCore, or Cloudflare.
  • Practical experience using Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools to manage and automate infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with building or maintaining CI / CD pipelines, ideally within a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Good understanding of Linux, containerisation, and cloud networking fundamentals.
  • Clear and thoughtful communicator who documents work and shares knowledge openly.
  • Collaborative teammate who enjoys problem‑solving and helping others succeed.
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to explore new tools, technologies, and approaches.
  • Bonus : Interest or experience with GPU infrastructure or AI‑driven automation.
