We are seekinga Kaitiaki – Home Based Learningto join our team in Te Waenga.You’ll play pivotal role in the delivery of our Home-BasedLearning Programmes.
As Kaitiaki – Home Based Learning, you will :
- Organiseand conduct whanaungatanga visits for new cohorts of tauira to ensurestrong connection and understanding.
- Confirmenrolment within set periods, document programme inductions and accuratelyrecord all relevant details.
- Applybest practices in assessment principles and communicate assessment resultsto tauira.
- Developimplement and review tailored support strategies for individual tauira,ensuring their needs are met.
- Trackand report on tauira progress.
About you :
NZQA / unit Standards 4098 – Uses standards to access candidate performanceLevel 4 or New Zealand Certificate in Assessment Practice Level 4.Acertificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education Level 5 (NCALNE).Certificatein Adult and Tertiary Teaching Level 4 and Certificate in Tikanga MāoriLevel 3 or Te Reo Māori Level 1 or higher is desirable.AFull clean New Zealand Drivers’ License.2-4years’ experience in education, mentoring, coaching, facilitation, orlearning support.As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness toparticipate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of ĀhuatangaMāori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
