What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Database Reliability Engineer, you’ll take ownership of AWS Aurora PostgreSQL environments, ensuring they’re secure, resilient, and high-performing. You’ll work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product owners to deliver scalable database solutions and support ongoing transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and optimize AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases for performance, availability, and security
Design and implement global database solutions using AWS CDK and CI / CD pipelines
Administer PostGIS and trusted language extensions (TLE) in PostgreSQL
Collaborate across teams to support database-related initiatives
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
Maintain robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity
Manage AWS resources using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform in production environments

What You Bring

You’re a seasoned database engineer with a strong DevOps mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. You thrive in Agile environments and enjoy working across disciplines to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience :

Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator

Strong knowledge of AWS database services (Aurora, RDS)

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform)

Familiarity with SAFe or other Agile frameworks

Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash)

Strong understanding of data security and compliance best practices

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
