About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated early childhood teacher to join our team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract starting in January 2026.

You will work collaboratively with our teaching team to plan and deliver engaging, meaningful learning experiences that reflect the principles and strands of Te Whāriki.

Key responsibilities

• Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through responsive, intentional teaching practices
• Build warm, trusting relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and enriching learning environment
• Reflect and engage in ongoing professional learning to uphold the centre’s philosophy and values
• Participate fully as a member of our collaborative teaching team.
