Purpose

Electricity Monster is currently looking to appoint a Senior Social Media & Content Strategist who lives and breathes social media. The role will be responsible for leading our content and social media efforts across TikTok, Meta (Facebook / Instagram), and LinkedIn. In this role, you won’t just guide strategy, you’ll bring it to life, partnering with creatives, influencers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver performance‑driven, brand‑aligned content that drives real business outcomes. You’ll have the creative freedom and decision‑making power to shape our social presence, test bold ideas, and bring new concepts to life in a fast‑moving environment. This is a senior‑level individual contributor role where you’ll have significant ownership over content strategy and execution, while working closely with other key teams across the business.

You’ll thrive here if you love wearing multiple hats : part strategist, part content producer, part community builder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute our multi‑platform social media strategy (TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn), focused on both brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Plan, brief, and oversee the production of short‑form videos, carousels, motion graphics, testimonials, and social‑first copy.
  • Source and manage UGC creators, influencers, and freelancers, ensuring quality and brand alignment.
  • Own and manage the content calendar, from planning and posting to daily management.
  • A / B test creative elements (hooks, captions, thumbnails, formats) and iterate quickly based on performance.
  • Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to align organic and paid content for maximum impact.
  • You’ll collaborate with : Marketing, sales, and creative teams to align social content with broader campaigns.
  • You will also work with external creators, freelancers, and agencies to scale our content production.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on KPIs including CPL, engagement rate, CTR, and ROAS providing insights to inform future strategy.
  • Stay on top of trends, memes, and cultural moments, using them to craft reactive and viral content opportunities.
  • Ensure all content meets brand voice, tone, and visual identity guidelines while still pushing creative boundaries.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a content strategy or social media leadership role, ideally in a high‑growth, consumer‑facing environment.
  • A track record of growing social accounts with performance outcomes through UGC and native content.
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics (CPL, CTR, ROAS, retention)
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms’ algorithms, whats trends, and formats especially for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
  • A knack for managing UGC creators, influencers, and creative teams, brief clearly, give constructive feedback, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Confidence with tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Workspace, TikTok Ads Manager, Loomly, ManyChat, Canva, or CapCut / Descript / Frame.io for video feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills whether briefing a creator or pitching a new campaign idea.
  • We’re looking for a social‑first, content‑native marketer, someone who lives and breathes TikTok, Reels, and storytelling.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Additional Requirements (Desirable But Not Essential)

  • Experience in using MotionAPP (AI Productivity App)
  • Have experience in Telco, Energy, SaaS, Technology or Home Services.
  • Understand lead gen workflows, CRM journeys, or funnel marketing.
  • Can write killer captions or scripts when needed.
  • Have experience working in a remote‑first team or across time zones.
  • Are comfortable on camera or creating demo content yourself.
