Here at Rimu School we are looking to welcome a new team member to our kura to teach in our new entrant / junior classroom from term 1, 2026.

We are looking for a teacher who is committed to high-quality teaching and learning, maintains a high professional standard and is responsive to learning and sustainable change. We are seeking someone who has some practical experience of structured literacy (we use iDeal) or is prepared to undertake and be involved in professional development in this area.

Positive relationships are key here at Rimu, so the ability to build strong learning relationships centred around learning with your students is essential. We value our people, have high professional trust and are proud of the learning environments and supportive culture we create.
