As a Reliability Technician, you'll play a key role in identifying and resolving technical issues, improving maintenance strategies, and supporting long-term reliability initiatives. This role combines technical expertise with analytical thinking to drive continuous improvement across the fleet.
Responsibilities
- Investigate failures and conduct root cause analysis
- Analyze maintenance and performance data to identify trends
- Develop and implement reliability improvement actions
- Support fault-finding, modifications, and engineering changes
- Improve maintenance strategies and inspection regimes
- Validate reliability metrics and contribute to reporting
- Assist with technical training and mentoring of technicians
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)Experience in heavy vehicle, rail, or industrial maintenanceStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret technical drawings and manualsSafe and competent use of tools and diagnostic equipmentCommitment to safety and procedural complianceDesirable Skills
