Launch Master - Manapouri / Te Anau

RealNZ is seeking a confident and capable Launch Master to lead vessel operations on Lake Manapouri and Te Anau. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, values safety and compliance, and enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Operational Responsibilities

As Launch Master, you will have full operational responsibility for the vessel, crew, and passengers. You will ensure safe and compliant operations in line with RealNZ’s standards and maritime regulations, proactively managing crew training, vessel maintenance, and environmental responsibilities. You will lead by example—supporting crew well‑being, fostering collaboration, and making sound operational decisions. You will also host guests with warmth and professionalism, deliver engaging commentary, and support food and beverage service onboard.
