We’re working with a premium New Zealand firm whose non-contentious construction team sits at the forefront of the New Zealand market, advising on some of the country’s most significant construction, infrastructure, and energy projects. Due to client demand for their services, they are now looking for an additional Associate or Senior Associate. In this role, you’ll work closely with respected Partners in a high-performing environment, gaining exposure to complex, large-scale projects across sectors including property development, transport, and renewable energy. Whether you’re advising on project structuring, negotiating construction contracts, or supporting the delivery of strategic assets, your legal skills will be sharpened through consistently challenging work.

The role is ideal for a driven Lawyer with at least 4 years’ experience in construction or projects – whether in private practice or in-house – who is looking to deepen their specialism. You’ll have a genuine interest in the industry, the ability to guide clients through nuance and complexity, and the confidence to contribute to team leadership and mentoring.
