We are looking for an experienced
Mechanical Tradesperson
to join the
Carbon Maintenance
Team

Joining our Tiwai whanau as a Mechanical Tradesperson, you'll report to our
Supervisor
and
Superintendent
team. Working the
Day Roster
, you'll follow a structured process to optimise preventative maintenance tactics and minimise overall business costs. With a demonstrated commitment to improving safety, cost and productivity, responsibilities include :
Identify and conduct planned and unplanned repair and diagnostic work within production time constraints on a wide variety of equipment
Promote and identify HSE opportunities to improve equipment, processes and behaviours
Add value through identifying and implementing improvement initiatives and applying robust defecting elimination practices
Manage your workload and act as a point of contact on jobs
Continue to develop and improve how you work
What you'll bring
You'll have excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience in both autonomous and team-based work. Your curious mind will have you self-motivated, with the desire to learn and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
To be successfully considered, you'll have :
Mechanical Fitter and Turner trade qualification or suitable trade qualification.
A high degree of flexibility and strong problem-solving skills to identify and conduct planned and unplanned repair and diagnostic work
Demonstrated a commitment to safety and continuous improvement
