About The Role

We are looking for a Conversion Process Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Hamilton. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver with strong technical expertise who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

You’ll play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring quality production, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety & Compliance : Champion workplace safety, conducting risk assessments and implementing improvements to enhance equipment and procedures.
  • Production Optimization : Ensure efficient, high-quality production by optimizing process settings and implementing Standard Operating Conditions (SOC).
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and support operators in problem-solving and machine operation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and lead process improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
  • Process & Product Improvement : Drive continuous improvement projects, including new product introductions, machinery upgrades, and process development.
  • Lead and participate in trials for new or modified products, analyzing results and refining processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, and development teams to implement solutions.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally, including overseas assignments.
