This role supports the discovery, design and delivery of a nationally significant regulatory change within a dynamic, multi-stakeholder project team.As a Business Analyst, you will work on various aspects of this regulatory change project, contributing to successful implementation.ResponsibilitiesEngaging with internal and external stakeholders.Providing high quality analysis of current state.Documenting business requirements for the proposed changes.Designing future state operating models.Supporting stakeholders and the project team with delivery and embedding of the changes.Note : This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
You will report to the Manager, Business Improvement and Innovation.
Salary range : 106,618 to 137,746 NZD.About YouYou are a skilled business analyst with an understanding of regulatory change.
You thrive in dynamic environments and excel at stakeholder engagement and coordination.QualificationsA qualification or equivalent experience in business analysis.Demonstrated experience in delivering business improvement or service design solutions with tangible benefits.Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis, tools, methodologies, and presentation styles.Experience gathering a wide range of technical and functional requirements.Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to identify problems and implement innovative solutions aligned with strategic direction.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.Experience designing and delivering regulatory change in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment is highly desirable.Why Join UsAt Customs, we protect and promote New Zealand through world-class border management.
