Nurse Prescriber / Nurse Practitioner required for a fast paced, rapidly growing clinic.

Rolleston Central Health is a Cornerstone accredited practice proudly serving the Rolleston community since 2014. Applications are invited for a Nurse Prescriber or Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and hard working team.

We are looking for a Nurse Prescriber or a Nurse Practitioner to fill roles available within our team, we need someone with a passion for general practice and with great people skills – friendly and compassionate, with a genuine interest in the health and well‑being of our patients. Nurse Prescriber or Practitioner qualifications are a must but experience isn’t essential as full job specific training can be given.

Please note you will need a valid NZ residency visa or citizenship and to be a NZ Registered Nurse to be accepted.

Shifts will be 4‑5 days per week, between 8am and 8pm. We have plenty of flexibility around exact days and time as you'll work in a team with your colleagues.

Working in a team with other Nurse Prescribers alongside our clinical team.

Work will be split between patient‑facing time in our Respiratory Clinic, patient consults and various admin duties.

Supervision from qualified GP's, weekly team meetings and a chance to grow your experience and progress your career.

A competitive wage.

A current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate and NZNO registration.

Experience working in Primary Healthcare.

Excellent English written and communication skills.

Proven organisational and time management skills.

The ability to cover further shifts including holiday or sickness cover would be an advantage.

Experience with Indici PMS would be an advantage although full training will be given.

An understanding of Māori health with an ability to apply the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi / Te Tiriti o Waitangi to nursing practice.
