General Manager - People

This role blends strategic people leadership with practical operational influence, the GM People will drive Euro Corp’s People strategy, organisational capability, and embed best-practice HR, payroll and H&S practices across the group. This role sits on the Senior leadership Team and delivers both long-term strategic direction and day-to-day leadership support across a diverse, hands-on workforce.

To be considered for this role, you will bring :

A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Organisational Psychology or related field

Significant senior HR leadership experience, ideally at GM / Head of People level (or ready for the step up)

Proven experience partnering with operational, manufacturing, trades, or construction environments

Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment law, ER / IR frameworks, payroll and risk management

Experience leading organisational development and culture initiatives

Confidence operating at Executive and Board levels, with strong commercial acumen

A track record of building capability, driving performance, and enabling leadership uplift

Ability to balance strategic vision with pragmatic, action-oriented delivery

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence, challenge, and guide leaders

A grounded, collaborative leadership style and a commitment to helping people succeed
