Playcentre Aotearoa is inviting applications from competent administrators interested in supporting our centres to run efficiently and remain compliant.
The Kaimahi is responsible for a range of tasks including the day‑to‑day administrative tasks of the centre to allow centre whānau to focus on their tamariki, adult education and their community.
Successful candidates will need to have a good understanding of ECE legislation and licensing requirements alongside strong communication and relationship management skills, and good attention to detail. You will be organised with the ability to prioritise and multi‑task. Playcentre or ECE experience and good knowledge of Playcentre Aotearoa policies and procedures is advantageous.
Position details
Start date : 28 January 2026
Days & hours : One morning (4 hours) per week, on either Tuesday or Friday. This is a permanent, term‑time‑only position, with an additional one week of work during each school holiday. If you’re looking for additional hours, there is potential to combine this role with responsibilities in Aria as well as National Park.
Desirable skills and experience
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
