Mo tenei turanga | About the role
It's an exciting time at NZQA.

In addition to this, we rolled out our new Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and revamped our end-to-end People processes.
We are looking for a fast paced and delivery-driven Senior HR Generalist (Projects) to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term basis to deliver critical project work that will help us further evolve and enhance how we connect with, understand and support our NZQA kaimahi.
This role will give you the opportunity to tackle strategic, impactful and visible work across all areas of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, induction, entry / exit interviews and all the phases in between.
This opportunity would be an ideal fit for a Senior HR Advisor who enjoys variety in their work and is looking to further build on their subject matter expertise and develop their end-to-end project delivery capabilities.
While this role is established for full-time, we could accommodate someone wanting to do 4 days per week (or equivalent).

You'll bring your insight and diverse experience into your work and easily cut through layers of noise to quickly and seamlessly identify what is needed and make it happen.

This role reports directly to our Chief People Officer, which will give you a direct line of information about our business and people priorities and set you up to plan and deliver your work accordingly.
You'll work in a way that is transparent and well-documented and will take the time to connect with check in with your key stakeholders regularly to 'bring them on the journey' with you.
Due to the nature of our work, it's critical that you be comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity and demonstrate the confidence and leadership to drive your work programme forwards and land your key deliverables, as planned.
