Senior Software Engineer – Permanent Job Opportunity

Auckland CBD
Hybrid (3 days WFH)
Cloud-Native | C# / .NET | Azure | Microservices

We are working with a leading Auckland central based tech client who are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong .Net , backend and cloud-native development experience.

For this position, you’ll be joining a high-performing, collaborative and purpose-driven team focused on building scalable, event-driven systems that support personalised messaging for global users. The team is working on a major POS re-engineering project, with plenty of greenfield development ahead.

Tech Stack & Must-Haves

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in backend / integration roles using C# / .NET

Solid cloud-native development experience

Strong Azure experience

Experience with microservices and non-relational databases

Familiar with CI / CD, TDD, event-driven architecture, Git, Docker and Cosmos DB

Experience working for customers and on SaaS products

Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and drive technical improvements
