Front-End Software Engineer

Transform how healthcare professionals access patient information across the globe.

We're looking for a Front-End Software Engineer to join our Clinical Portal team, the group behind Orion Health's secure, web-based platform that gives clinicians a unified, intuitive view of a patient's longitudinal health record.

Our software integrates data from multiple healthcare systems to improve the way care is delivered - and you'll help make that experience seamless, fast, and beautiful.

What you'll do

As part of a collaborative, cross-functional Agile team, you'll :

Design, build, and optimise responsive, high-performance user interfaces that empower clinicians to make better, faster decisions.

Work closely with UX designers, product owners, and back-end engineers to bring new features to life.

Ensure accessibility, performance, and usability are at the heart of every interaction.

Contribute to design discussions, champion modern front-end best practices, and help shape the technical direction of our product suite.

(If joining at a senior level) mentor others and influence architectural and tooling choices across the front-end stack.

What you'll bring

Experience :

3–5 years of hands-on experience as a front-end or full-stack engineer, working on enterprise software, with a strong focus on front-end development and UI / UX quality.

Technical skills : Proficiency in

React

JavaScript / TypeScript

HTML

, and

CSS (or CSS-in-JS frameworks)

Experience with

frontend testing frameworks

such as Cypress, Jest, or Playwright.

An understanding of

RESTful APIs

and working in cross-functional teams with backend engineers.

Familiarity with

AWS

or other cloud environments is an advantage.

Bonus points for experience with

accessibility (WCAG)

design systems

performance optimisation
