Head of Business Finance – Oceania

The Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished finance leader to join our high performing team as Head of Business Finance – Oceania. This pivotal role leads the DLF Seeds Oceania Finance Team, driving robust budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis processes that underpin our strategic priorities and business growth. As a trusted partner to the CFO and senior leadership, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of our Oceania operations and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, insightful financial management and reporting.

About The Role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer – Oceania, you will :

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis processes for the Oceania Group.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and partner with business leaders to drive profitability and operational excellence.
  • Oversee management reporting, business planning, and the development of robust financial models and scenario analysis.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial systems, data, and internal controls.
  • Play a key role in business systems change, project analysis, and the implementation of new reporting systems.
  • Model and champion our organisational values and commitment to health, safety, and sustainability.
  • About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or similar, with Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional certification.
  • 8–10+ years’ relevant experience, ideally in a comparable industry and scale.
  • Proven experience building and leading high‑performing teams, with a strong track record in strategic financial management and business partnering.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Advanced skills in ERP systems (preferably Navision), Excel, and business intelligence tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, optimise processes, and influence at executive level.
  • Experience in a global environment and the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and the highest professional standards.
