Tip Top Bakeries NZ , part of the George Weston Foods(GWF) group, is seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Brand Manager to support the growth of our baking portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunityto work with iconic brands like Golden and Tip Top Bakery ,contributing to exciting marketing initiatives and new product development.

About the Role

As Assistant Brand Manager, you’ll work closely with theSenior Brand Manager to :

  • Develop and execute brand plans and marketingstrategies
  • Support new product development, packaging,sampling, and communications
  • Analyse market and brand performance to uncoverinsights and opportunities
  • Manage marketing budgets and collaborate acrossteams to deliver successful campaigns

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree in Commerce, or Marketing (required)
  • 1–2 years’ experience in FMCG, retail or asimilar industry (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and financial skills (basicP&L, budget management)
  • Curious, proactive, and a results-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Digital marketing know-how
  • Passion for brands and a desire to understandconsumer behaviour
  • Flexible and agile, with a hands-on approach andwillingness to get stuck in
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotionalintelligence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meetdeadlines under pressure
  • Open-minded and receptive to feedback
  • A growth mindset with a willingness to learn andadapt
  • Resilience and a positive attitude in afast-paced environment
