We're looking for a dedicated and people-focused Volunteer Coordinator to join our team.
In this rewarding volunteer role, you'll play a key part in supporting our mission by recruiting, coordinating, and engaging our volunteer community.
You will be supported by our Centre Manager and work closely with other team members, while also being able to operate independently.
Key Responsibilities
Onboard and train new volunteers
Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments
Maintain an up-to-date database of volunteer information, skills, and availability
Match volunteers with suitable opportunities based on their interests and strengths
Support internal communications and keep volunteers informed and engaged
Promote volunteer opportunities through marketing tools, email campaigns, outreach, and community engagement
Help convey our organisation's values and purpose to the wider community
What We're Looking For
A genuine interest in people and a passion for volunteer work
Strong communication and organisational skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in building and maintaining positive relationships
Confidence using basic digital tools and platforms (e.g., email, volunteer databases, social media)
