Qualified ECE Teacher

Twizel Early Learning Centre – Timaru, South Island

We are looking for a professional and energetic Qualified ECE Teacher to join our experienced team at Twizel Early Learning Centre, based in Twizel, Mackenzie. This full-time, permanent position (35 - 40 hours per week) offers the chance to be included in a dynamic team while delivering high-quality education. Your role will include programme planning, assessment, and maintaining strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and the wider community.

Description

We are a well-established community based Early Childhood Education Centre, offering high quality education and care in a safe and stimulating, play based environment catering for up to 39 tamariki aged from 3 months to 6 years of age.

Responsibilities and Expectations

You will be responsible for the day-to-day education, well-being, health, and safety of children attending our centre, ensuring provision of education and care to service standards. You will also demonstrate a commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi and bi-cultural practice and meet the Teaching Council’s required Teaching Standards.
