About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance

The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network.

The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system.

Estimated project dates are from July 2019 to June 2028.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to support the safe and efficient delivery of pavement maintenance and renewals activities on the Auckland motorway network.

As Pavements Nightshift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal onsite delivery through :

Reviewing and communicating work plans, methodology, and site-specific instructions

Working with suppliers to confirm resources for each site

Monitoring and supporting onsite workflow

Reviewing and adapting night plan as required

Providing support to work crews where required

Communicating all plant maintenance requirements to dayshift

Addressing all issues promptly and efficiently.

You will consistently drive a strong team culture, placing emphasis on safety and quality, and identifying areas for improvement through post site inspections and safety audits.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills :

7+ years' experience in pavements and surfacing

Excellent people and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to work well under pressure

Available to work night shift Sunday to Thursday

Strong organisational and time management skills

Full NZ Class 1 license
