Job descriptionDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy construction equipment Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on diesel engines and related components Inspect and test machinery to identify potential problems and ensure proper functionality Utilise diagnostic tools and software to determine equipment issues Conduct repairs on hydraulic systems, transmissions, and fuel injection systems Maintain accurate service records and reports Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely equipment availability Provide recommendations for repairs and preventive maintenance schedules Relevant automotive trade qualification 3 years of relevant hands-on experience WTR endorsement and HT licence advantageous Sound customer service skills Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy machinery Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently Competitive salary and benefits package including health insurance, overtime, and tool allowance Ongoing training and career development opportunities within the wider group A supportive and dynamic work environment Opportunity to work with industry-leading equipment and technology
