HVAC Technician

This role is a full-time permanent position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Reporting to the Technical Coordinator, your role is to provide exceptional support as part of a team of professional service technicians, responsible for carrying out operational, maintenance, and repair works on commercial Chillers and HVAC equipment across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Key Responsibilities Include :

• Carry out planned and unplanned service, maintenance, and commissioning of all types of Trane chiller and heat pump equipment, air handling units, and unitary air conditioning systems.
• Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork related to work performed.
• Participate in the after-hours standby duty roster.
• Foster and maintain professional working relationships amongst technicians and apprentices, demonstrating the ability to work within pairs and smaller teams.
• Comply with all safety, company, and statutory policies and procedures at all times.
• Actively participate in all company-facilitated training and service meetings as required.
• Facilitate on-site training for other technicians and apprentices, and supervise work performed by an allocated apprentice.
• Quote and bring in new client leads for small service repairs.
