Position : Casual Catering Assistant - Kamo Home and Village, Whangarei (Casual; afternoons and weekends are available)

We have an opportunity for a courteous and reliable individual who enjoys interacting with the elderly and making their day by serving amazing meals.

This rewarding position is based at the Kamo Hospital and Village in Whangarei and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Be friendly and engaging with a flexible, committed, can-do attitude.

Support our talented chefs by keeping the kitchen clean and doing dishes.

Be able to work safely in a commercial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.

Follow instructions to prepare the dining room and serve the evening meals.

Be an exceptional team player who is able to take responsibility and work unsupervised.

Have a practical understanding of New Zealand Food Control and safety regulations.

Have good time management skills.
