We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our vibrant, innovative general practice and provide a warm, caring welcome to our patients.

$26 - $29.99 per hour (depending on experience)
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday - 8-hour shifts between 7.30am and 6pm
Work across two modern clinics based in Hauraki and Devonport

Have previous customer service experience and can manage multiple demands at once

Are a quick learner with strong computer skills

About the position :

As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring they feel welcome and supported. Your responsibilities will include :

Greeting and welcoming visitors, clearly communicating processes, wait times, and services

Ensuring patients feel cared for and that their needs are met

Answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments

Assisting with account enquiries, invoicing, and reconciling accounts

Recording and updating patient details and registrations accurately

Completing administration tasks including filing, scanning, and transferring patient notes

Liaising with the nursing team to ensure urgent or acutely unwell patients are prioritised appropriately

General clerical tasks as required

What you'll bring to the role :

Previous medical centre experience is desirable, but not essential

A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills

Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

A friendly, approachable, and caring manner

Willingness to learn and contribute to a team-focused workplace
