Primarily injury rehabilitation programs – coworking with Better Day’s tightknit team of physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and other IDT team membersCompleting assessments with clients to determine the most appropriate programme for their needsBroadening your clinical experience, adding to your skillset, and engaging with a wide variety of clinical presentations across the weekAchieving realistic KPIs in a manageable and sustainable daily workflow – control over your own diaryVisiting a variety of people in their homes or seeing clients in a clinic space, to assess their needs, design appropriate rehab plans, and advocate on their behalf – you may work with clients with a range of conditions including neurological, orthopedic and many moreCollaborating with your interdisciplinary team to share knowledge and ideasReporting as required for external stakeholdersCelebrating “wins” with your clients, their whānau, your colleagues and your supportive Leadership TeamAttending fortnightly team hui in person at our Ellerslie office and regular connection with the teamAttending formal and informal opportunities for networking and learning and development both in New Zealand and AustraliaAbout You
You are passionate about making a real differenceYou have tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and are registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of New ZealandYou have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in community rehab, ideally including paediatric caseloadsYou have experience with Training for Independence programs and Assessment Services under ACC (ideal)You embody Better Days’ values and are committed to Te Tiriti o WaitangiYou’re available to travel Auckland wideYou have your own car and a valid full, clean driver’s licenceYou can provide evidence of your right to work in New ZealandHow To Apply
