About the Role

The Echocardiography Department has a full time, 2.5 year fixed term vacancy for a Trainee Cardiac Sonographer.

Entry level into the Trainee Cardiac Sonographer role is successful completion of a Health-based Science or Imaging undergraduate degree, or a RN with Cardiology experience, and a proven high level of academic achievement and patient care.

About you

Our successful applicant will be someone who has an interest in Cardiac Ultrasound.

You will need to be capable of, and keen to undertake self-directed study at a Post Graduate level.

You will be hard working and would have shown a commitment for providing excellence in patient care and a drive to succeed professionally.

You will have excellent communication skills, the ability and maturity to work in stressful situations and to be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
