Waimairi-iri Burnside High School is seeking a permanent, part-time assistant teacher of science with physics to commence at the start of term 1, 2026 (Wednesday, 28 January 2026) or by negotiation.

Responsibilities
Deliver engaging science instruction for Years 7–15 with a focus on student engagement and achievement.
Collaborate with the science faculty to plan, assess, and implement curriculum including physics content.
Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.
Participate in induction and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Qualified teacher with appropriate NZ registration or eligibility.
Experience teaching science to secondary students, including physics is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to student wellbeing and inclusivity.
