St Patrick’s Taumarunui is a multicultural Catholic school in the heart of the King Country. We are seeking a New Zealand registered primary school teacher with recent classroom experience to join our team in 2026.

We welcome applications from teachers who can use the refreshed curriculum to plan engaging, well‑structured programmes in religious education, reading, writing and mathematics. Skills and experience with current assessment practices, PB4L, the CODE spelling programme and the structured literacy approach would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be collaborative, reflective and committed to nurturing our ākonga as faithful, responsible, lifelong learners, while upholding the special character of our school.

Teacher Bonding Scheme payments of up to $40,000 over 5 years apply to this position.
