• Here in our Radiology Department, our friendly team take immense pride in their positive involvement in the patient journey. We are on the lookout for someone that shares this important value, and who is committed to making a positive impact on the patient experience. That someone could be you!This role will see you assisting our Medical Imaging Technologists with safe scanning and care for elective patients. Full training and support will be provided.

• have experience working with people in the health sector and / or experience or knowledge of customer service (would be an advantage).This role belongs to the APEX Medical Imaging Technologists (MIT) Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($72,074 p.a) and Step 5 ($86,719 p.a pro-rata) of the Clinical Assistants scale.Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities. • We are looking for a self-motivated person with good life experience who can work independently but to support the wider team. You will have exceptional communication skills who can form strong working relationships, and be the type of person who is happy to ask for directions.
