Early learning / kōhanga reo, Certificated teacher

We are looking for a registered kaiako with a passion for nurturing tamariki under two years old. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, professionalism, and a deep respect for Te Whāriki and te ao Māori.

About the role :

  • Work collaboratively within a caring, respectful team.
  • Provide responsive, relationship-based care for pēpi and toddlers.
  • Support a calm, predictable environment where every child feels safe and valued.
  • Observe, plan, and document children’s learning journeys.

About you :

  • Registered ECE kaiako (or provisionally registered, working toward full)
  • Passion for working with under 2s
  • Knowledge of Te Whāriki and inclusive practice
  • A team player with excellent communication and empathy.
