Teacher of mathematics

Overview

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher — Mathematics and statistics. We are seeking a teacher of mathematics who is motivated, adaptable and has a growth mindset. The successful applicant will be joining a well-resourced department within a school undergoing a positive transformation. This is a full-time, permanent position starting term 1, 28 January 2026, or by negotiation. Suitable for first-year teachers.

Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics and statistics to the appropriate year levels.
• Contribute to the department and school culture and participate in co-curricular programmes.
• Support the school’s academic focus and engage in ongoing professional development.
